The easiest way would probably be to open an account directly with BEKB bank. That may be possible as an EU resident on request. This is their email: otc-x@bekb.ch. I don't know if they are too small of a bank to deal with US clients, but if so, that would be the simplest option.
Apparently it's also possible to buy OTC-X traded stocks via Swissquote, but again only if you are from the EU. Probably due to FATCA compliance.
The other way, where it may be possible to get access to OTC-X, would be to open an account with a larger Swiss bank, like UBS. It's possible that a high minimum deposit is required. And as a US citizen you can't directly trade OTC-X stocks through UBS, but it may be that theoretically a UBS advisor could forward an order as a house bank to BEKB. However, this is not directly mentioned anywhere by UBS.
The last way I could imagine it being possible would be through a specialized Swiss asset manager, but here too I think the fees and minimum deposit will be very high.
So I have to say it's really hard and near impossible to buy this if you are from the US. I knew this when I wrote this post. I still decided to write it simply for the love of the game, because it's fascinating to me what you can find out there. But still, this is not a typical writeup for me.
I hope I didn't misrepresent the situation with Grindelwald-Pfingstegg AG.
Feel free to message me if you have any further questions.
Good stuff! Where I can put my hands on these names , not available on IBKR nor Degiro ?
